litsynp (means life is too short; you need python)

About me

Hi, I am SJ.

I am a backend engineer with an interest in Spring Framework, Node.js, and Django.

I am able to write in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python - in order of preference and proficiency.

Besides programming languages, I am a native speaker of Korean, and can also speak English quite comfortably.

Here are some of the links that might help represent my current status.

Meaning behind my nickname litsynp?

I dreamed of becoming a web developer when I first met Python back then when I was a freshman in 2016. I quickly got fond of it for its simplicity and conciseness.

Hence, I named my username litsynp, my own acronym for Life Is Too Short; You Need Python.

The way I pronounce it is /lɪt’sɪnp/ (lit-sinp).

Not a blog

I wouldn't call this a blog, since an ordinary blog sorts posts chronologically.

I have this habit (or instinct) of keeping things tidy and grouping them in a certain manner. Therefore, I'd like to call this website my personal 'archive' where I collect stuff from the Internet or my own experiences and organize them in my own way.

Purpose of the Archive

All the posts in the blog are actually written by and for myself. But I do know that stuff on the Internet is meant to be shared. So I'll put more effort into providing quality content and writing them as neatly as possible.

Language

I mostly use Korean, so the majority of my writings will be in Korean. But I'm also interested in writing them in English. (Plus, writing Korean in GitBook is very frustrating.) So it depends!
